Why did we decide to do this?
Before I got licensed, I had one of the rider coaches (introduce Scott Tracy) come with me to get my first bike. He test rode it and made sure it was mechanically sound, as I had ZERO idea how to ride or what to look for in a bike. He then showed me the basics before my Rider Course which allowed me to continue practicing without the stress of having to find a bike best suited for me. I lived and breathed that bike! And it is a MAJOR reason why I am a successful rider and coach. If Scott didn’t go out of his way to help me get my first bike, I know for a fact I would not be where I am today. Thinking back on this experience, I quickly realized I wanted to do the same for my students… to give them an extra leg up as I once had.

Hi there, I’m Jade. I didn’t know my passion for motorcycling until I decided to take the Basic Rider Course (BRC) through Rider Education of New Jersey. I became licensed in May 2019 which has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I took up a lot of long distance riding, with my longest ride being down to Key West! By my 3rd year of riding, my passion for bikes transformed into low speed maneuvers where I now compete throughout the US and Canada, while consistently ranking in the top 3. During my motorcycle career, I also became a Rider Coach, teaching 25 classes a year from April through October. Now, I enjoy anything that allows me to feel the wind through my hair whether that is being on 2 wheels or up in the sky plummeting down to the earth at 120 mph with my trusted parachute.

Scott’s love of riding began as a toddler, watching Evel Knievel make his death defying motorcycle jumps. By the time he was 3 years old, he was building ramps and jumping his bicycle over Tonka trucks and eventually the neighborhood kids. As a teen, he moved onto mopeds and would wander NJ back roads for thousands of miles each year. In 1992, he became an MSF instructor and began his journey assisting thousands of people in getting their motorcycle endorsement. Today, long distance riding trips are his passion. He teaches the beginner, experienced, advanced and three wheel courses, as well as helping new riders find their first bike.
